Heating Assistance

Pay your home heating costs with the help of government energy assistance programs. Households with low-to-moderate income may be eligible for assistance from the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). Many households with income from farms, offices, factories, and other workplaces receive this assistance to help with space-heating and electricity costs. Funds are limited, so apply early while money is available.

The amount of assistance you receive depends on the size of your household, income level, and heating costs. We receive the check directly from the state, credit your account, and send you a statement.

See if your eligible for heating assistance.

WHEAP also offers counseling for energy conservation and budgeting for energy costs, community resource referrals, and emergency furnace repair/replacement.
